Born and raised in Timmins, Ontario, Steph has travelled near and far but now makes her home in Vancouver, British Columbia. She’s been writing and playing music for quite a long time but only recently has she begun to believe she could. As you probably know, there’s a big difference between doing something and believing you can do it. When you believe you can do something (like, believe it from the inside-out) then you probably should do it. You don’t have to, of course, but everyone is worse off if you don’t. Or, at least, they’re not any better.
This website is mostly dedicated to the things Steph makes with her hands, from her heart, for you. It’s about sharing and expressing and collaborating and practicing and stepping out of comfort zones and taking chances and speaking. Which means: There’s gonna be a lot of writing, some music, some videos, and every once in awhile, if you’re lucky (or not lucky, as the case may be) a drawing or two. Steph draws? Well, yes. Everyone draws, silly!
Finally, Steph is in the middle of a writing project (writing a book) and a music project (recording a CD) so some of what you find on this here website will probably make it into these projects in some form or another. If you have any comments, feedback, constructive criticism, encouragement along the way, know that your voice is welcome! Stuff always turns out better if it’s done together.
